Westlife – Siapa yang tak kenal dengan boy band lagendaris yang satu ini. Pernah memutuskan untuk bubar dan akhirnya di tahun 2018 mereka kembali bersatu lagi. Westlife
Westlife adalah group BoyBand asal Irlandia yang terbentuk sejak 3 Juli 1998. Awalnya beranggotakan 5 personil yaitu Nicky Byrne, Shene Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan dan Brian McFadden . Pada tahun 2004 Brian McFadden memutuskan untuk keluar dari Boyband yang membesarkan namanya dan memilih untuk Solo karir. Selama puluhan tahun eksis di belantikan musik dunia banyak single dan album mereka yang hits seperti My Love, I Have A Dreams, If I Let You Go dan masih banyak lagi. Terdengar kabar bubarnya Westlife dikarena mengakhiri kontrak dengan label mereka pada tahun 2012. Westlife melakukan konser perpisahannya di Stadion Croke Park Irlandia.
Setelah Westlife bubar di tahun 2012 akhirnya pada tahun 2018 mereka melakukan Tournya lagi di berbagai Negara. Sebelum mereka memutuskan kembali di jagat musik dunia, berikut ini kegiatan mereka setalah fakum beberapa tahun dan akhirnya berkumpul kembali.
Nicky Byrne
Nicky Byrne menjadi pemandu acara di acara reality Footballs Next Star. Dan dia sempat mengeluarkan single untuk Eurovision Song Contest yang berjudul “Sunlight”. Selain itu Nicky kerap terlibat dalam berbagai kegiatan dan acara kemanusiaan, salah satunya mendukung UNISEF dalam penggalangan dana untuk bayi prematur di Irlandia.
Shene Filan
Shene Filan pada tahun 2012 dinyatakan bangkrut karena bisnis propertinya gagal. Kemudian mantan manager Westlife “Louis Walsh” menawari album rekaman Solo untuk dirinya. Pada tahun 2013 Shene Filan merilis album pertamanya You and Me dengan single andalannya Everything to Me.
Mark Feehily
Mark Feehily sempat mundur sejanak di dunia hiburan dengan menekuni bisnis kuliner yaitu Foot Truck. Namun pada tahun 2015 Mark kembali ke panggungu hiburan dengan merilis singel Love Is a Drug di tahun itu juga dia menulis album solo yang berjudul fire yang sempat duduk di 25 tangga lagu Inggris.
Kian Egan
Kian Egen aktif di program di Stasiun Televisi. Salah satunya lewat program The Voice dan I’m A Celebrity. Pembawa acara This Morning dan Big Star Little Star.
Itulah tadi kegiatan para personil Westlife sebelum akhirnya memutuskan untuk bersatu kembali dan melakukan Tournya kembali di berbagai negara.
